Zen Tankou vs. Ame 1 [Finished]

Naomi is a tall and slender good looking girl. She is wearing a purple blouse tied with a brown belt with the Ame headband serving as a buckle. She is black hair and bright purple eyes. "Let's get this over with. I hate this place, too much grass, and i'm pretty sure i'm allergic."

How should I go about this....

Zen entered the tournament stage which was something like a field. Much to his chagrin, his opponent was a girl . He'd feel bad smashing her face in with his taijutsu.

Guess the first thing to do is figure out her style

Shifting his body, Zen bent one of his knees before he tossed a single shuriken at Naomi. It would curve off towards the side on her left, before swerving back to hit her.

Naomi stood her ground watching the Shuriken as it came flying towards her. With a quick sand seal, the ground to her left raised as a single pillar constructed from the components of earth shot up, shielding her from the Kunai. Without moving she made a few more handseals, and then sent a ball of wind rocketing at Zen.

Zen was in a good position to dodge Naomi's follow-up attack. He pushed off the ground with burst speed, darting towards his right to avoid the ball of wind. His hand found itself rummaging through his ninja pouch, getting past all the empty loops before he found the ones with the paper notes attached to them. He launched four kunai each with an exploding tag towards Naomi's earth pillar, set to explode on-contact. As he was running towards her left, he set it up so that her own wall would blindside her from seeing Zen as he threw the kunai. His hope was that the accumulated explosion chain would blow up the top half of the pillar, sending high-speed hot debris and rock pieces flying right at Naomi where she won't expect it.

Naomi watched the kunai and exploding tags fly in towards her. She dropped to one knee, used some handseals, and slammed both of her palms on the ground, forming a large dome of earth over her body. The explosion decimated the pillar, but only cracked the dome she was still under.

Ame's Genin is impressive.... to be able to use two elements thought Zen. He quickly formed the Boar and Ox handseals before forming a half-Tiger seal with his right hand placed on top the back of his left hand.

Sorry for this... but Kumo's will is that of ruthlessness! We Genin were taught and instilled in that.

He slammed his hand on the ground, causing it to shatter and fragment as if an earthquake were occurring.

"Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm!"

The ground before him ruptured and ravaged, before the effect reached Naomi's dome. It would cause all that rock to shatter and collapse in itself, sending numerous boulders coming down on the envelopped, unsuspecting Naomi to crush her. There were only two ways for her to be saved.

Naomi taps the side of Zen's shoulder, outside of the dome. She had used her Underground Transparency technique once she created the dome. This would distract her opponent into believing she was in the dome, when in reality, she would dig her way through exit, then attacking her opponent. However this time she didn't attack, she merely tapped his shoulder. She then made a couple handseals, and created a bubble of water in between her palms and pushed it towards Zen. The bubble wouldn't do any damage, but would send him sliding backwards away from her, and he would be very wet!

One way is for the proctor to intervene, saving her life. The other way would be escaping the jutsu, saving her own life. Given her skill in Doton, it would be simple for her to manipulate the earth for another defense, travel underground, or open up a hatch in the dome. He'd keep his guard up until he sees victory for himself, for his rule of combat has always been to take every opponent seriously. Keeping his eyes forward, even putting his face to the ground to feel any disturbances, he waited to see what occurred of Naomi.

Zen swung around to see the perfectly unharmed Naomi. She began to form some handseals.

Don't intercept, block! his instincts told him. Zen began to back away a few meters and put his arms up, taking the full blunt of the water bubble. There was some force behind it, but it didn't do anything to sweep him off his feet. He was just pushed back and a little drenched.

'Hm... looks like you're going to make me.." Zen murmured, water droplets spilling from his mouth. Dislodging a smoke bomb from his pouch, he tossed it near Naomi to set off a relatively big smokescreen.

Naomi coughs briefly, annoyed by the smokescreen. "Aye, a smokescreen? Really?" Forming a few hand seals and the clapping her hands Naomi causes wind to ripple from her position and out into the arena, clearing the smoke.

When the wind cleared out the smoke, Naomi would find that Zen would be nowhere in sight.

"Yo" said a voice behind her. Zen who was almost done phasing up from the earth started to form a row of handseals. But those were a fluke, meant to distract Naomi from the real danger at hand.

The Zen above was a regular Bunshin, while the real Zen was underground. Using the Hiding Like A Mole technique right after the smoke obscured Naomi's vision, he dug underground and patched the hole up before she cleared it out. Using the technique's unique sensory ability, he can easily pinpoint Naomi's position for it was the only one he can sense. Handseals were then formed for his clone technique that he was taught in the Academy. Right while the clone was forming seals, Zen would jump and emerge from underground right below Naomi's chin. The earth would be changed into fine sand the instant before he made contact with it, and he would have changed his direction according to any movements Naomi made. He had an uppercut all ready for her the moment he came up, punching her from a blind spot under her chin.

The punch landed squarely, sending what appeared to be the real Naomi into the air. Turns out, while the smoke screen first initiated, she created a Water Clone. The Water Clone was the Naomi he struck, while the real Naomi resided in the air, resting on a wind current she had created. She hopped down, saw that Zen had gotten wet from the water clone, and laughed. "You're gunna be something, Zen. Keep it up. I concede." Naomi turned and walked off the stage, much to the surprise of those in attendance. Murmurs erupted among the spectators, and a few even got up to talk to the proctor. The proctor however walked to the center of the stage.

To his surprise, water fell back down on Zen, drenching his face and forcing his eyes to close. He would have fallen back down under the ground had the hole he created not been patched up. He landed on his ass and as he wiped off his face, he saw Naomi hovering above ground level.

Ahh..... he thought, feeling rather stupid.

She hopped down, her scent permeating his nose. To his great surprise, she conceded the match for some reason. The audience started to get rowdy about it, but he had already been declared the winner. Zen watched Naomi, with her back turned to him, getting farther and farther away
