Kenji Raiken vs. Ame 3 [Finished]

Kenji your NPC player will be myself. I will post first later tonight including details of you are fighting. You will then have 24 hours to respond. After seven posts each the fight will be determined by the judges.

Ryo was the tallest fighter in the tournament. He towered above Kenji and wore a head protector that covered his eyes. Turns out he was blind, but had excellent sensory skills because of it. He held a baton in each hand and sat on the tournament floor. "Patience, it will enable me... to destroy you.."[/b] His face was quiet but menacing as he egged Kenji on.

Kenji is confused by Ryo's headband. Kenji thinks it best to wait and see what Ryo does.

"Black Bolt."

Kenji fires a Black Lightning bolt at Ryo to see what he does.

Ryo raises both of his batons in an 'X' shape across his body, blocking the Bolt from striking him. The Black Lightning doesn't seem to have any effect on his baton's. Ryo then stands up and swings both of his baton's forward, but not moving his body. Water forms above him from released chakra and launches at Kenji in a wave.

Kenji uses Dark Descent to leap over the water attack and appear right next to Ryo.

He then gathers lightning in his palm to use lightning fist. Kenji tries to strike Ryo with his Lightning Palm Jutsu.

"Surprise!"

Ryo dodges the palm strike elegantly, spinning around Kenji and then coming across his back with batons at full force. His extraordinary sensory ability has allowed him to react almost instantly to Kenji's Dark Descent. "No friends, surprise to you!"

Kenji is struck in the back by both batons and flies forward. He rolls over and then catches his balance and leaps up.

"Ouch, that was rough."

Kenji dashes forward and uses Lightning Palms once more, this time ready for the counter-attack.

Ryo uses both batons to block each Lightning Palm. Every movement by Ryo is swift, precise, and elegant. He looks as if he has perfected movement in close quarters with the use of his batons. His voice is deep and booming. He doesn't hesitate to taunt Kenji a little more. "I thought Lightning was supposed to be quick?" He asks in a mocking tone.

Now that Kenji is close to Ryo he uses Charge Release to discharge Black Lightning from around his body. The attack will slow Ryo and damage him if it hits successfully.

"Is this quick enough?"

Kenji is visibly angry and yells at Ryo with dis contempt.

"Wha-? Gah!" Ryo is knocked backwards, Black Lightning channeling through his batons and into his chakra system. He feels slower. He notices that his movement really have become slower as he attempts to sprint forward and strike Kenji with both of his batons. However he gets there twice as slowly as he normally would, giving Kenji plenty of time to react.

Kenji takes the opportunity to send a Black Bolt directly at Ryo. He makes the hand seals and then launches one towards the incoming Ryo.

Kenji then uses Dark Descent to appear behind Ryo.

"How about this? Quick enough yet, punk!?"

Kenji uses Lightning Palms and sends to palm strikes to the back of Ryo.

Ryo blocks the Black Bolt with his batons like he had earlier, but it left it open for Kenji's next attacks. Both Lightning Palms struck Ryo's back with force, sending him to his knees with his back in spasms. Recovering quicker than before, because the Black Lightning current had finally died out, he turned quickly swinging both of his batons at full force toward Kenji's head.

Kenji ducks under the baton strike. He then makes a few handseals and Lightning is seen gathering around his palms. He is visibly tired from all of the chakra use he has done.

"Lightning Palms!"

Kenji strikes with both of his palms harder than he ever has in hopes to win the fight.

Ryo is left completely defenseless as the final Lightning Palms strikes hit him square and center, sending him crumpled to the ground, unable to continue. His breathing is heavy and he is cursing quietly to himself, his batons both beside him. The Grass Village proctor advances on the stage and stands in between Kenji and Ryo. He eyes Ryo for a moment before turning to Kenji.

Kenji Raiken is the Winner."

"Yes!"

Kenji raises both his arms in excitement and jumps up. As he lands he falls forward. Exhausted from all of the chakra use. He walks off stage and goes to find the Raikage to tell him he won.
