Basic equipment
When Tomoe is dressed for a mission or other ninja duties, she carries pouches on a belt that contain shuriken, some kunai, and a lengthy weighted chain, among the other usual ninja tools that may be carried. She is also not without a few explosive tags that she prepares before leaving on a mission.

Tomoe's war fans
Tomoe always carries a pair of war fans with her. They are made of metal sharpened into points and etched with a number of seals. She can use them as a bladed weapon or as a metal shield to help deflect thrown projectiles such as kunai, shuriken, and senbon. Folded together, each can form a thick blade that can be used to help block katana strikes or similar, but they are more effective as a weapon when they are unfolded. Furthermore, she can use them as an aid in creating certain fuuinjutsu during combat (see jutsu).
