Name: Satoru Ujimasa
Clan: Jiton(Magnet Release)
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Village: Sunagakure

Rank: Kage
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Elements: Jiton|Doton|Fuuton|Raiton

Appearance:
Image:

Standing at 5`11 Satoru weighs in at a moderate 165lbs when in casual clothing. Bearing a bone chilling resemblance to a demon of the Sand Villages past, Sasori of the Red Sand, Satoru has earned himself the epithet Satoru of the Black Sand. Playing along with this epithet, Satoru wears all black from head to toe with the exception of some pieces of his clothing. A hooded thick black garb that covers all his arms and drapes down to his thighs, the sleeves are a bit loose fitting and it zips up down the middle. Around the neck section of this garment rest the insignia of Sunagakure in forehead protector form. Strapped diagonally across his chest both ways are sand colored leather straps in an "x" that hold his gourd used to carry volumes of Iron Sand. Underneath this main jacket like garment is a long sleeve black hard that even wraps his hands safely as gloves as well. His pants are . . . you guessed it black, fairly baggy to the knee, where they are then wrapped tightly in black cloth from the knees down to his black shinobi shoes, which are not open toed like most. Similar to Sasori of the Red Sand, Satoru's hair is the same crimson red and his eyes a gemstone topaz.

Personality: Satoru's personality is rather upfront and unwavering with his values and  desires. He likes to keep it professional and doesn't play by any set of rules other than his own. Of course as a person he knows the difference between good and bad, but he doesn't necessarily pay heed to such constructs and does what he sees fit or beneficial for himself and ultimately his village. Short spoken and quick to get the point when business is being handled, to his people he is a bit more tolerant, yet he still keeps his distance. He's earned the reputation of being direct, arrogant, stubborn, and rather rude, but that's because to outsiders he is. Satoru is very "in house" with his relationships and like many early leaders in the shinobi world, he doesn't put trust or let others into the affairs or business of Sunagakure.

To his people he isn't necessarily kind hearted or compassionate either, rather an effective militant figure head. Not too radical with his methods, but the Kazekage finds power in power. Not in having many alliances or allies, but in the individual strength of his village. He likes to see results and he likes to win, he feels one is completely in control of their life and with hard work and dedication to ones goals, they can be where they want to be. That said he has no pity for those in unfortunate positions and views life much as a competition.

He knows there is a line that needs to be sustained, between his personal and shinobi life and for Satoru that's not an issue. Being a very introverted person, the Kazekage keeps his circle small and with only well known cohorts. Most of which also benefit him and are his go to people when shinobi business is to be dealt with. Well organized and precise, he hates being unprepared for things and surprises even if simple things like surprise parties. Feeling completely in control of his life and the things around him, Satoru's biggest enemies are the unpredictable variables. Like hairs out of place, the Kazekage is quick to snip them off/eliminate them.

In battle Satoru is very well calculated and likes to have a pretty broad gauge on his opponents skill level before going on the offensive. He's great at keeping a cool composure and taking things step by step in battle, meaning he's not much of a physical fighter or one who relies on instincts too much. Metaphorically, he likes to be sure where he's stepping will lead him to victory before he steps. Very slow tempo at the beginning, once he feels ready to strike, it is very apparent as he is quick to unload supreme strategies onto foes which usually end in him burying his targets in the sands of his land.

History:
The origin of Satoru Ujimasa are the very sands he rules over. A distant village int he Land of Wind, but not in the village of Sunagakure itself. He began as a peasant farm boy, who like many other from his village strived on getting money by the meal to avoid starvation. His parents owning a cactus farm, they sold it's water to those within their own village and on the rare occasion other villages when they could afford to ship the liquids and the weather conditions allowed. With his parents having this lifestyle, Satoru wasn't under their surveillance 24/7 or sometimes any hours of the day. He grew up very independent, it was obvious to him and others in the village not only was he an accident, but an undesired child. Not neglected the essentials of food, water, and clothing, anything beyond such as, intimacy, education, or things such as toys or even simple things like sweets, Satoru never experienced in his household.

In envy of those who did, Satoru was quite the youthful their growing up. Many breaking and entering convictions along with petty thieving, the child was well known as a curse to his small village. None of the villagers bothered to try to lead the boy back into the graces of good. The excuse or justification for such things being he was born as an omen, this proven and accepted due to his resemblance to Sasori of the Red Sand. This type of life as a child probably giving birth to his views of good and bad being meaningless. The principles were only applied when they benefited the one acting, but no one ever went out of their way to do anything good for the forlorn child, so were they really good people? As time persisted he soon found his number of friends dwindling, mostly because he was branded as a misfit to society or just generally a bad seed to not be socialized with. Into the confines of his own mind he went, the child learned the many faces of people at an early age and never has lost that ability. Along with learning how people were, Satoru learned how to not trust. He was alone in this world, domes times he went months without returning to home, to come back and have his parents look at him as if he was just a stranger. Food and water given to him, he'd take his meal to his shanty beat up bed and rest for another meaningless day of existence.

"Life's much like these sands for me . . . Just a bunch of sand. No real substance, nothing of value out there, just sand, sand, and more sand." The Sunagakure Jounin laughed at a 13 year old Satoru's words. At this point in his life, the teen was completely done relying on his parents for the little bit they did offer him. This petty discussion here with a random Jounin is what changed the teen's life forever however. "You see a bunch of sand, but that's because you look from afar. From afar I look just like another person, but you yourself said no one had spoken to you in about a year. You tell me, with a closer look am I just another person? The teen meditated on the words, was there something out there? Not even having an education, lands where sand wasn't all there was were just myths and fairy tails to him. "These sands have the habit of producing odd people, odd but insightful and wise with a lot of potential. Think of the citizens of this village as the meaningless sand you see in your metaphor. Have you ever took a chance to add yourself to the equation and see what you were?" Reaching into his Jounin Flak Jacket he handed Satoru something, a desert rose. "You have potential, I can't tell you what your potential entails you to become, but don't waste it." With that the Jounin was never seen again, but his words left their mark on Satoru's soul and mind. It was one year later after physically preparing himself that Satoru robbed whomever he needed in the time frame of one night and escaped his homeland. Out in the unforgiving desert sands with only his thoughts to keep him company and his loot to keep him fed and hydrated.

It would be a lie to say the fourteen year old didn't get lost or to say his 1 month journey was made without a single issue, but regardless he made it tot he promising village of Sunagakure. The walls were nothing like he imagined and the very sight of them seemed to loosen the shackles on his pessimistic mind. But he wasn't freed yet, no, he still had one demon to battle. Though not as harsh as it was back in his hometown, his appearance again painted him as an omen. Being foreign to the village and appearing from no where din't help his cause either, but Satoru cared not for people's such superstitious thinking and acting. He tried many things, before entering the Ninja Academy. First he was a florist, then a carpenter's aid, then he got a formal job handling mail for the village. He even found himself in the Kazekage's Administration Building filing paper work for various ninja until he came across one file in particular. It was the Jounin from a year ago and a mission report deeming him killed in action or K.I.A. That was the day he allowed that man to steer his life once more.

The next day Satoru found himself at the age of 16 standing at the doors of the Ninja Academy. Enrolled in a program for older entrants of course, Satoru quickly graduated tot he rank of Genin the same year. A surprise to many including himself, Satoru quickly attained the rank of Chunin but the time he was 18 and quickly caught up to those within his age group. The blessing that allowed such tremendous growth would be discovery of his unique Kekkei Genkai, Jiton. The thought to be lost bloodline ability stirred and turned quite a bit of heads along with his striking resemblance to the demon of the Sand Villages past. Two years in his shinobi career and Satoru knew this is where he belonged. Perhaps he didn't have the strong love for Sunagakure that many other's had, but being a shinobi just felt right for him. He finally felt he had control over his life and could prove to be a gem in the desert and not just another grain of sand.

Fast forward to three years later and we have Satoru as an Anbu Operative taking his first steps outside of the Land of Wind onto a Land of Water bound vessel. Mist filled the air and the squad of 3 small row boats creaked in a ghastly fashion within the ominous atmosphere. Satoru slipped his mask into position over his face as did the others and the air lit up like a firework. They attacked from what seemed like every direction and destroyed ship after ship that was filled with countless enemy shinobi sinking them in record breaking times. The division of the Anbu Corps. he was in was known as the World Relations Division. These were the cell members who were rarely ever in their homeland and constantly were given new orders just as there current orders were being completed. They operated on a tight time schedule and were constantly in and out of countries within days sometimes even hours, doing business then leaving without a trace to the next assignment. Sleep was rare and when it was gifted, one had to battle their conscience to withhold the nightmares from their dastardly actions.

Age 24. Dark rings seemingly permanently ingrained underneath his lifeless eyes, the found of a vulture squawking woke the resting Shinobi. New orders, he watched as his Cell Leader read them, burned them, then burned the messenger bird to ashes. Once again they were on their way, but this time they were on their way home. No words spoken during the whole journey, the Cell arrived in Sunagakure with the cover of a light sandstorm. Silently, ever carefully, and unseen they scaled the walls of a sandstone building stopping before reaching he ledge. A countdown on one's fingers was initiated and once the fist clenched closed, the trio vanished with the veil of the sand to only reappear inside the room of the village's leader. Not a single sound could be made before the heavy iron sand stuffed the Kazekage full to the brim like a carnival prize and the blades of the other Anbu Ops. were bore in the necks of the Kazekage's guards. It was just another job in their eyes and it was something the man had coming for his villainous ways. It was only a matter of time and Satoru was glad he could be the one to personally oversee his death as he grasped at the air suffocating while the iron sand rested in his body like water in a cup. Dead.

The village went through the motions of mourning, but in truth not many were sad about the loss of such an impure leader, power was all he was concerned with, even to the point of damaging his own village to attain it. Those who did feel loss weren't even amongst the man's family, but those who lived under a rock and were actually buying the propaganda he tried to shove down the masses throats. A new Kazekage installed to fix world relations and domestic standings with outskirt villages and within Sunagakure itself, this man only operated to get things back to how they should be. He had the mind, but not the image for the job and he knew. Now one of Satoru's closest advisors, the man stepped down from the seat and Satoru of the Black Sand was placed in the Kazekage position at the age of 26. He had come a long way and the people were aware of the work he had put in for the village even under such criminal minded leadership with the Kazekage that was assassinated. It must have been planned form the beginning given that he was the one who assassinated the corrupted Kazekage and now here he was sitting in the same chair, he watched the man suffocate to death in.
