Arrest Ekke ~ C

It was almost afternoon. That meant that they would have to get to work in a few minutes. The second housing district was relatively quiet, which was probably better than them than if it was rowdy like a market district. He was partnered up with somebody else to get the job done. Their target was Ekke, a man in his early 40s and was a regular civilian. Just your average Joe. Which is why the infantry grunts are being sent to flush him out. He lived in a small house, no basement or anything fancy. It looks like Ekke did all he can to keep himself locked in in order to keep everybody out. He was a suspect in a burglary that Zen didn't really cared too much about. He just stood watching the house, wondering if Ekke could even see him.

"Look for a guy with chains on his pants, could the Raikage have been any more specific?"

Maou walked through the streets of Kumo, he was supposed to meet Zen tho he had no idea how he looked like other than he wore chains. With his hands in his pockets as he arrived in the second housing district.

~Well i'll be damned, he does wear chains on his pants~

Maou closed in on Zen, who stood silently and focused on the house. Maou stood across the ally/street/door as if to not arouse suspicion from anyone watching.

"I've been appointed to aid a shinobi by the name of Zen, we are to arrest a burglar by the name of Ekke"

Maou stood quite tall, he wore a black skintight long sleeve shirt under his Kumo one shoulder vest. The uchiha crest was visible on the top right side of his chest.

Zen noticed a black hair figure who was an entire foot taller than him approach him. He could tell that he was from the prestigious Uchiha lineage, based on his attire, or else a huge fanboy. After hearing him, he found his partner.

"That Zen is me", he said. He thought that Maou was around 20.

"He's all cooped up in there. He may be armed and desperate. How should we enter?"

"Enter?"

Maou raises an eyebrow, and in a serious tone he answers.

"We should just blow the house up, and say he was resisting arrest."

He waits a few seconds to examine Zen's reaction, he'd burst out laughing if Zen went silent tho if Zen kept his serious demeanor he'd awkwardly chuckle and scratch the back of his head.

"Well, i cant take the frontal approach if you want to guard the back in case he attempts to escape."

Maou's suggestion, even made more humorous by its sincere-laden tone, caught Zen off guard. It would be rude for him to not reply seriously.

"No can do. Unless the authorities want to imprison his corpse, he may be killed if we blow up the house. Plus, we may be forced to pay for property damage since we're using excessive force. I don't know about you, but my family would mind if we lose money".

To Maou's alternative, he said: "Alright, that's good. The front and back doors are gonna be locked, so we'll have to use force. Let's go.... er, what's your name?"

"The name's Maou"

He nodded in agreement with Zen.

"I'll go in through the front and attempt to apprehend him, however if he runs i trust you'll take care of it."

"Nice to work with you, Maou", he said before taking off. With controlled but quick speed, he made it to the back of the house. He placed himself right next to the back door, placing his ears close to the exterior of the house so he can hear what's going on inside...

He felt like a secret spy.

Maou stood in front of the door and attempted to listen in, sadly there weren't any distinctive noises coming from inside the house. He figured using his sharingan would be a waste since the suspect was a civilian.

"Ekke, due to the crimes you have committed the police force is requesting your presence. You have 5 seconds to surrender peacefully."

The 5 second count was up, and there was no answer. He took a step back and kicked down the door with a swift kick. Once inside, he held a hand up to his katana handle. He wanted to be ready for any surprise.

(You can pick out the enemy locations, and leavve a few so you have some action too. Hell i wouldnt mind a chase through the roofs)

"ROOOF! ROOOF!"

Two dogs appeared barking viciously at Maou after he knocked down the door. It was clear to them who he was. Maou was an intruder. There was no mistake about it. And no one was gonna reign them in. They were relatively big, hostile, and were prepared to sink their canines into Maou's flesh should he take a single step forward.

Zen heard this. He had dogs in there.... looks like I have to back him up...

Zen stepped back a few meters from the door, went forward, and kicked it down. The dogs were immediately startled by this and the two took their stance next to each other with their backs (or tails) behind a wall, baring teeth at the two intruders. The dogs looked at Maou to Zen and back and forth, growling. They would attack whoever makes the wrong move.

"Mhm, mhm do you know how to tame one of these?"

"I've never had a puppy.. Why dont you go ahead and attempt it, i'll watch your back"

Tho with his sharingan, incapacitating the dogs would have been no issue. He simply wanted to examine how zen would handle the situation. Maou's hand remained on the hilt of his katana, he was ready to defend his partner.

"Okay then", said Zen. He approached the nearest dog cautiously before placing his hand on the handle of his katana, unsheathing his sword by a few inches. The dog seemed to have been conditioned to associate the sword stimulus for danger, making the dog's appropriate response to be a fight reflex. The dog came right at him on all fours, but Zen, exercising his Taijutsu prowess, was able to kick the dog to the side. The dog was knocked right into a door. By in that moment, the other dog came charging at Zen, taking advantage of the interval where he cannot attack. Zen moved his arm in the way to defend, and the dog bite into it, holding it between its teeth.

Yet no teeth penetrated. Rather, it was more likely that the dog's teeth would crack from such ferocious impact. For Zen's fingers were on the metal of his blade for some time now, and he was able to quickly absorb the steel to coat the arm that he used to defend himself against the second dog. He tried to wiggle the dog off, before flinging him over to Maou....

"Crud man.. they were sjust dogs.."

Maou looked at the dog, its teeth all cracked from biting into Zen's forearm. He swiftly struck the dog in the back of the neck and it crumpled to the floor.

He faced Zen and signaled for them to begin the search. He used hand signals to instruct him to search the right side of the haouse. Maou would seach the left side, keeping on the alert for any more surprises. He opened the first door to his left, that led to the bathroom. he ripped the shower curtain open to reveal an empty tub. He flipped the toilet lid open, and was surprised to find a giant turn drowning in tt.

"This is freaking disgusting.. but at least we know he's here"

He whispered softly to himself.

The first dog he knocked aside started to get back on its feet, but Zen quickly grabbed it by its collar, took a few steps, and tossed out the door like a trash bag. Zen stood at the open entrance looking at the dog. Their eyes seemed to have directly met with each other for five seconds before the dog turned around and scurried off.

With his metal absorption deactivated, he went on to search the right side of the house as Maou suggested. There was no doubt he was hiding somewhere in the house; after all, his dogs got into a fight with a couple of intruders. He must either have some secret compartment or waiting to ambush the two kids. Zen found himself searching inside of Ekke's bedroom. The obvious places to check were under the bed and the closet. Still nothing. Zen opened the drawers in case he hid himself there, but the stack of clothes in the small space told him otherwise. Hmmm.... he thought, as he headed towards the door when he heard something fall softly to the floor behind him. Zen whirled around to find it was a piece of paper. Picking it up, it read "Don't sit".

"AHH!"

Those were the last words he read before a chair came plummeting down on his head. It wasn't a big chair, but it knocked Zen down to the ground with pain. Ekke, who dropped the thing from above the ceiling, quickly dropped to the floor. He would rush out the door, carrying a sword with him. What the heck? The guy could get to the attic from his bedroom? he thought with the pain that was going through his head right now.

"Oi, Maou! He's running away!"

"Ah damn it! Why do they always run?"

Maou rushed towards the sound of Zen, he saw his partner down on the ground. He didn't seem to have any major injuries so he didn't stop to give first aid.

"I'll get him Zen! That bastard is gonna pay!"

Maou rushed after Ekke. He knew that there was no way he could let Ekke reach the market/district/populated area. Maou was pretty fast, years of training helped him build an incredible cardio. He ran catching up to Ekke, when he was a few feet away, he quickly did a few handseals to materialize a lighting whip. He swung it around like a lasso and the flicked it at Ekke.

It was a direct hit, the lightning whip clapped against his back and sent a jolt of lightning through his body. This caused him to stumble, and allowed Maou to tackled him to the ground and hog tie him. They weren't very far from the house, as Maou had moved quickly.

Zen rubbed his head, the pain still there. He remained on the floor keeping his hand over his head, happy that he wasn't bleeding or anything. His eyes weren't out of focus or anything, so shock didn't get to him too much. He was able to get back on his feet.

"This should go away soon... agh.... my head.."

He stumbled to the doorway just in time to see Maou crack his whip at Ekke. There was no way a regular civilian was outrunning a Genin. With that lightning attack, not only was Maou disarmed of his sword, but he would also be stunned for a few seconds. Maou would then go arrest him.

A four-legged creature caught the corner of Zen's eye. It was the dog, the one who he kicked aside and the one who he threw out. It was coming at Maou like some rapid beast. He did not know what kind of natural suppressor activated in his body, but the head pain was replaced with the fight reflex, dampening the sensation. Zen dove into the ground with the Hiding Like A Mole technique, digging out a tunnel at high speeds to get to the dog before it could distract Maou long enough for Ekke to get back up again. With the technique's equipped sensory feature, he could tell where the dog was coming and how fast.

Out came Zen from right under the dog's belly, emerging with an uppercut.
"RUOAH!"
He punched the dog right in the gut and it flopped backwards like a sack. Zen was not above surface and looked at the dog once more. Their eyes met for a few more seconds, before the dog turned around and went away.

"Mhm... I guess that right about takes care of him.."

The dog was only feet awayz Maou only heard the snarls of the rabid beast, but it was too late for a reaction. Maou's jaw dropped when he saw Zen rise from underground like a glorious mole. He saw the beast flop back. Zen and the Dog engaged in a staredown, that resulted in the dog running away with the tail between the legs.

"That was freaking aweosme! You came out of nowhere with that devastating upppercut!"

Maou stood up and waited for zen to emerge completely. He stood over the hogtied Ekke.

"Well, this hooligan didn't get very far. Thanks for the save."

Zen nodded. "You are also good at whipping people", he smiled. Looking over Ekke, it was clear that he would do no more harm. He was reminded of his head pain, but that could be handled with a quick check in the hospital. "Welp, now to bring him in", he said. Ekke would be dropped off at the police HQ, where he'll be imprisoned until his trial comes about. The results and proceedings of which are something beyond what Zen is concerned with.
