[War Event] The Forest

First three characters that post take the forest.

Seiko Chi was a newly promoted Chuunin. And while quiet and calm, she was ready to do what the Kusakage had asked, attack Konoha head on and create as much chaos and damage as possible. She had a team of three Genin and they quickly moved through the forest trying to get to Konoha.

The orders were clear. Protect konoha as if it were Kumo. The message from the Raikage played in his head over and over. This was his only his first time in Konoha, and he was already fighting to defend it. He jumped from tree brach to tree brach, keeping a sharp ear for any enemy movements.

"Since i missed the tourny.. I better deliver an outstanding performance to make the Raikage proud."

He took a quick break, and used this time to synchronize himself with the forest.

Hiroshi made his way through the forest, still in disbelief that Kusa finally let out their attack on Konoha. Hiroshi jumps from tree to tree to see a Kumo ninja standing on a branch, Hiroshi knew that Kumogakure were their allies so he approached the ninja.

"Yo, I guess me and you can work together, the name is Hiroshi Aokin, have you seen the enemy?"

"i have not. They must be afraid to show their face knowing we'll destroy them"

Maou said it in a fairly loud voice, hoping to provoke any hidden enemies. He closed the distance between him and the konoha genin so they would travel close together.

Many things were said at the meeting were it was announced by the Raikage that they would act as reinforcements for Konohagakure. Controversy was raised, particularly about a holds-off approach to foreign policy. Yet despite all of the commotion in Kumogakure, the village still churned out the manpower they could gather to fighting off Kusa forces that were on their way to invading the Land of Fire. Zen was among the many infantry who would side with the Konoha forces, as awkward as it'd seem. Historically, such a thing never occurred since the Fourth Shinobi World War of long ago. Whatever happens twice is sure to be happen a third time.

Armed and ready with his typical battle gear, Zen blitzed across the forest branches alongside fellow Genin Maou. He made sure he had enough equipment and he even rehearsed various battle tactics and strategies in his mind in preparation for war. A real war. Where people get stabbed, mutilated, and killed. He remembered saying farewell to his family, promising to uphold the clan in battle. He wanted to return as soon as possible to celebrate his fifteenth birthday which was coming up soon. The sharp air blew right across him as the two leapt from tree to tree. Though they were still young, they were one of the strongest Genin in the village.

Zen immediately held his hand to the handle of his blade with the other on his ninja pouch when he detected the presence of another ninja. However, it turned out to be a Konoha ally. And not only that, he seemed to be oddly familiar.
"Oh. It's you. We met in the Kusa tournament. Forgot your name, though".

Hiroshi looks over at the ninja that came behind his Kumo comrade. "Oh, hello Zen Tankou, uh... I'm Hiroshi Aokin.." Hiroshi felt awkward that he remembers Zen's name but it was only out of respect.

Hiroshi quickly then hears others jumping across branches, heading towards them, it seems that provoking them worked.

Hiroshi sees that it was Seiko Chi, the one who fought Sakyo in the Kusa tournament, she was with three younger looking Kusa shinobi.

"Eyes ahead they seem to be our enemy, let's work as a team and this fight will be in our favor for sure." Hiroshi pulls one of the many kunai he came prepared with and launches a Gale Palm

"Both of you, throw as many shuriken into my Gale Palm, it will launch at them at a high speed in a wide spread area, a hard technique to dodge."

Seiko recognizes the threat and has one of her Genin step in front of the incoming shuriken. The Genin that steps in front creates a stone wall in front of them. It rises up from the earth and takes the incoming Shuriken.

Genin One
This is the Genin that brought up the stone wall. He quickly leaps onto the wall and raises multiple stone pillars from the forest floor, creating a tiny labyrinth.

Genin Two
This girl immediately goes takes cover behind one of the pillars and begins to throw Shuriken and fireballs out at the three Genin.

Genin Three
This small boy stays in the back. He thrusts both hands into the earth and vines begin to erupt all around the three genin, trying to grasp them and bind them.

"Do not underestimate the enemy. There will be no proctors here, Try not to get killed."

Maou pulled out his katana and sliced through a couple of vines that were aimed for his feet. He evaded some move by backflipping onto a tree. He used his chakra to remain high on the tree and analyze the situation at hand. 4 enemies, two possessing earth release (im a guess vines is earth?) one with fire, and then the unknown leader. He didn't know much about her, due to the fact he missed the Kusa tournament.

"We have to get rid of the smallest one! we can't get caught in these damn vines."

~damn it, my lighting release will barely be of any use.."

He wove a few hand seals then clasped his hands together. When he brought them apart, he held two lighting spears one in each hand. He attempted to catch the girl once she poked her head out to fire a Fireball.

They have encountered the enemy.

It was 3 vs 4, meaning they did not have the numbers advantage. In the game of war, the warring side is usually led by someone higher than a Genin. Which means that it's likely at least one of them is a Chunin or Jounin, and is skilled at hunting and tracking. Zen knew that their side consisted of nothing but Genin.

Zen did not add his arsenal to Gale Palm in time, which was rendered ineffective against the enemy's Doton. Many pillars rose from the earth, but although it seemed like it boxed them in, in reality anyone skilled at focusing their chakra can escape from it. As a Doton user himself, he knew that he must not let the enemy have the higher ground. With a single handseal, he channeled chakra to his feet and leapt through the stone pillars as he would run on a wall. All allowing him to evade the vines that tried to grab him from the earth as well as the genin girl's projectiles.

All this earth won't work on me... in fact, it'll be your downfall.

A four seal-sequence was accomplished before Zen then jumped onto the front face of the stone wall that Genin One was standing on, landing about five meters below him. Chakra helped him along the way. "Sand Shower!" As the stone pillars were of ground earth, his earth chakra was able to convert it all to sandy particles. All of the earth on the wall between where Zen and Genin One was would be transformed, making Genin One unable to maintain a solid footing. Right after that, all of that sand will shoot upwards, blindsiding and harassing the Genin( especially if it got into his eyes) as the Genin himself would be sent upwards. Not only that, but it would also send the kunai/shuriken that were previously blocked towards Genin One. They would be concealed by all the upshooting sand, truly making it a hidden attack. At the velocity they were moving while propelled by the sand geyser, they had the power to cut into Genin One's flesh.

OOC: Maou's lightning release is actually especially effective on earth

Hiroshi sees that Zen can take care of the first Genin and leaves him to Zen unless he needs back up. Hiroshi jumps towards the boy who used the vines and uses a Fuuton : Great Gust to break up vines headed towards him to make an opening.

Great Gust:

With the vines destroyed Hiroshi intends to use a Winged String on the boy to knock him off his feet with strike the back of his head with a powerful kick backed by huge momentum

Winged String:

(curse you pokemooooooooononnn!!!!! so now, its game master's turn right?)

Genin One:
Genin one immediately reacts to all of the attacks and very advanced tactics by creating an earth dome around his entire team, soaking up sand attacks, lightning bolts, and a wind gust before it finally gave way. "This won't work, let's split em up." Genin one locates Zen and runs towards him, pulling out a Large Katana and swinging it at Zen.

Genin Two:
Genin Two finds Maou, and approaches him with a kunai drawn. She then creates a Fire Clone. The Clone and her take opposite sides of Maou and attempt to collapse on him with kunai strikes from both sides.

Genin Three:
Genin Three creates a large tree that surrounds and forms around him, leaving him safe inside. From inside the tree he continues to send vines everywhere trying to bind anyone that gets to close to his teammates. He has some sort of doujutsu that allows him to see through the tree that has enclosed him for protection.

~i can't hold back now~

Maou's eyes began to spiral. They lost his golden color which was replaced by the signature re of the sharingan. With his two tome sharingan activated, he stood still in an attempt to establish direct eye contact with the real /genin two/ to catch her in a basic genjutsu. If not, he would dodge to the side away from the boy tree.

With a few hand seals, two lighting whips materalized in both hands. He swung them around and attempted to shock both /genin two/ while focusing more on the clone to try and poof it.

Two attacks came towards him at once. Zen placed his hand on the handle of his katana, slowly unsheathing it as Genin One cames at him with his katana. In truth, it was all to encourage him to continue charging towards him, not minding his surroundings. Reading the vertical slash that would come down upon him, Zen would side-step right when Genin One was three feet away, allowing him to dodge the downwards katana slash. Unfortunately, at this time the vines that were originally aimed for Zen's position would now have ensnared Genin One, tangling him with moderate binding power. Zen took advantage of this by quickly gripping his hand right under the large katana's guard, preventing Genin One from using it any further. Two fingers touching the katana's steel, chakra streamed from his hand throughout his arm, coating it in a metallic luster.

"The quality ain't bad", Zen said before he would bring up a smashing uppercut with the metal fist right into his opponent's chin.
