[Quarterfinals] Arakui Uchiha vs. Shiko Nara [Finished]

Welcome to the Quarterfinals! Each of you has six posts each to fight. A panel judges with determine who wins. Remember you are Genin! No meta-gaming, assuming hits, etc.

Arakui stands on the stage. He sees he is fighting a fellow Konoha Genin.

"Hello, I am Arakui Uchiha. You are a Nara right?"

The fight should be interesting since we both know each other clan's traits.

Arakui starts the fight off by disguising four shuriken in fireballs sent at Shiko.

"Housenka no Jutsu!"

"I am, My name is shiko."

Shiko have heard of the abilities of an Uchiha, but has never had to fight one. This will be an intresting fight he thought to himself.

Shiko rolls and evades three, and sees the fourth and braces for the hit. With the roll, it was not a direct hit, but the shuiken glance his left arm.

"sneaky I see"

Shiko throws a kunai at his opponent and charges after he release it and throws a punch at his gut, hoping one of the two will land.

"Sharingan: Activate!"

Arakui sees the kunai and notices with his Sharingan that Shiko is coming behind it.

Arakui throws a kunai of his own to deflect the kunai. Arakui blocks Shiko's punch with his right hand and throws a punch with his left hand at Shiko's head.

Shiko barely manages to block it, but he was not ready for the hit and jumps back a few feet.

"Shadow curtain"

Shiko's shadow goes in between them and and lefts from the ground blocking sight.
Shiko then throws 2 shuriken through the curtain thinking it wont be enough time to react.

Shiko still knows he cannot underestimate his opponent and braces for an attack after moving a few feet away from where he cast the shadow curtain.

Arakui sees the shuriken too late. One is deflected, the other gashes his right shoulder.

Arakui figures out that things can pass through the curtain. He uses the curtain to disguise his own attack.

"Endon!"

Arakui uses Fireball Jutsu and sends it through the curtain.

Shiko although was ready for an attack, was not ready for a big fireball, he barely dives out of the way. but not quick enough, it catches part of his legs. While kneeling he waves hand seals."Shadow imitation technique"

The shadow curtain falls as Shiko's shadow extends towards Arakui.

Arakui's Sharingan sees the shadow extending. Knowing that Shiko is a Nara he leaps backward.

Arakui flees from Shiko's shadow and throws two shuriken towards Shiko.

"Keep this shadow away from me."

"Damn, sharingan. It was worth a shot."

Shiko retracts his shadow knowing it would be worthless to keep trying. At the distance the shuriken are thrown shiko is able to have his shodow manifest into a blade the size of a kunai and deflects them. Shiko then drops the shadow kunai.

Shiko throws a shuriken and runs at arakui amd makes a sweep at his legs.

Arakui dodges the kunai. The sweep knocks him off balance.

Arakui while off balance uses Endon.

"Endon!"

A fireball erupts from Arakui's mouth.

Shiko already being lower to the ground is able to roll out of the majority of the attack but takes burns to his lower body.

Hoping that Arakui is still off balance Shiko forces his body upward to try to land an uppercut to the face. Shiko winces in pain from putting that amount of force on his injured legs.

Arakui brings his arms up to cover his face from the punch. The punch still sent Arakui backwards.

"Time to end this."

Arakui unleashes a barrage of fire balls using Hyousenka no Jutsu.

Six fireballs come flying at Shiko.

Ooc-this is also my last post.

Ic- Shiko is astonished how much chakra this Uchiha has and is a little jealous. He knows that this battle is coming to a end. He throws his last kunai through one of the fireballs. Then summons a shadow blade the size of a sword. Shiko then dashes head on trying to evade the fireballs and thrust his sword into the abdomen with an opening the kunai creates.

(I'll leave if the fireballs hit and how bad they hit up to the judges along with what my attack does)

Shiko is unable to handle the barrage of fireball, being hit numerous times on his approach. While he does manage to gash Arakui with his shadow blade, its not the full attack he had expected due to the fire ball barrage slowing him down. The proctor steps in the fight before it can continue, seeing that Shiko has taken a fair amount of damage.

Winner is Arakui Uchiha

Shiko your rewards will be distributed after the tournament.
