Kenji Raiken vs. Shiko Nara [Finished]

Alright guys. Six posts each. The judges will determine who wins afterword. You are both on the stage, so first poster can launch an attack to start. Please don't guarantee your hits, don't meta-game, and remember that you are Genin. There were some problems in the first round with people doing too much. If you go over-board, the judges will choose your opponent the winner.

Kenji studies his opponent. He decided the best course of action would be to send a Black Bolt towards his opponent.

"Black Bolt!"

Kenji sends a Black Bolt of Black Lightning towards his opponent. If it hits he will be slowed as well as damaged by the attack.

(If hit the slow lasts for one turn)

OOC- Sorry for taking so long, been a crazy last 24 hours.

"Does no one introduce them selves anymore?" Shiko said with a slight smirk on his face.

Shiko sprinted to his right to avoid the bolt of what seemed to be lightning. "Probably best to avoid that"

Shiko while running threw a kunai at his opponent.
"I am Shiko" he said coming to a stop and preparing for an attack, waiting to see how his opponent wanted to proceed with the fight.

Kenji throws a shuriken and hits the kunai in the air so both weapons fall to the ground.

"I am Kenji Raiken! Genin from Kumo."

Kenji fires another Black Bolt at Shiko.

"Pleased to meet you"

"Another one?" Shiko thinks to himself. This one caught Shiko more off guard and he just narrowly dodges it by somersaulting. While on a knee Shiko extends his shadow and has it raise it from the ground in between the two genin "Shadow curtain." he then throws three shurikan where he remembers his opponent was. The shurikan pierce through the curtain. He then runs more to his right and waits in a guarded state.

OOC-Shadow curtain is just what it sounds like. It just blocks a view and anything can pass through it (doesnt make a hole, acts as a waterfall with no weight), just meant to evade. Will drop during either your post or mine.

Kenji is caught off guard by the curtain. Three shuriken fly through and hit Kenji.

Kenji is hit in the right thigh, left arm, and abdomen.

Kenji uses Dark Descent to appear next to Shiko and attempt a kick to the head.

(Dark Descent is an instant gap closer I can use two times in a thread).

Shiko was not expecting that kind of speed and gets a kick in his head. The kick sends him back a few feet and makes him fall to the ground, rolling another foot before he stops. He gets up, feeling dazed.

"You got me, but looks like I got you too." taking notice of where the shuriken hit.

Shiko sprints to his opponent swing his right fist towards Kenji's head.

Kenji takes the hit to the head. He is slow from the shuriken hitting his body.

"You got me alright, but I want to return the favor!"

Kenji uses Charge Release Raiken Style.

(This technique releases Black Lightning from Kenji's body to anyone who is close. The Black Lightning knocks them back and slows them for one post.)

Shiko has no way to block it and is sent back a few feet. He immediately notice his body is not reacting as fast as it should. He knows he will be at a disadvantage in a taijutsu battle.

He weaves the hand signs for Shadow imitation technique. His shadow extends. He needs it to connect with Kenji's if he has any shot at this battle going his way.

(I don't think it'd make my technique any slower, if it does just role play that it is slower)

Kenji doesn't notice the shadow until it's too late. He is connected in the Shadow Imitiation technique and stops moving.

"So now what?"

OOC- I should have told you that that technique lasts two posts in the last one.

Shiko lets a sigh of relief out, This match he had taken more damage than he would like. He would have to finish this here. He weaved a hand sign.

"Shadow neck bind technique."

(this is canon, a shadowy hand travels up your body and constricts your neck, can be resisted with a lot of chakra, so do what you see fit)

Kenji feels the bind on his neck. His neck constricts and he feels like he is going to pass out.

"I-I conced!"

Kenji's neck feels like its going to snap.

The proctor leaps onto the stage and grabs Shiko, releasing his hold on Kenji. As Kenji falls to the ground the proctor steps forward. Winner is Shiko Nara

Shiko walks to Kenji and bows.

"You gave me a run for my money, I hope to see you in battle again some day."

Shiko smiles and walks out.
